Maybe you’ve dreamed about fly fishing in Patagonia or Norway. Those legendary places where the water is clear and the trout are bigger than your dreams. But every time you try to book it, you find out it’s either too expensive for a week at a fishing lodge or too much hassle to figure out on your own.
You don’t need a five-star chef or constant service. You just need someone who knows where the fish are and what actually works. Someone to show you the ropes, then step back and let you fish.
That’s what I wanted. It didn’t exist. So I built it.
Kalakamu. Finnish for “fishing buddy.” I’m not your guide. I’m your friend who did the homework and wants to set you up for the trip of your life.
We find the water. You earn the fish.
Our trips follow a simple recipe: Accommodation on the good water, some guided days to set you up for success and then time on your own terms.
